Never signed up for either after I had a call with them. The sales rep was super pushy and just gave me bad vibes. So sorry to see what they have put everyone else through.

This company is dishonest. They lure people into signing advertising contracts with misleading facts and figures. They are unresponsive to reports of the massive number of fake leads and scammers that are reported to them.

The company charges outlandish rates to advertise. At one time they had a free posting that vendors could make then they discontinued it. They will arbitrarily send you leads that are clearly fake leads when you threaten to cancel your contract. In a full year of subscription, I never received one id lead. When you call to stop your enrollment, they haggle with you nonstop about extending the enrollment doing better about sending leads to you. The advertising contract price goes up by a large percentage each year.

Fake leads over and over again. Never booked anything real. Wedding Wire tried to tell me I booked several weddings with them because some of the couples I served had accounts with them although they found me in different places and didn’t even know I was on wedding wire or the knot. They scammed me and wouldn’t work with me when I spoke out for my concerns.

Worst of the worst. The leads are non-existent and it’s crazy expensive. They charge me per city and area and honestly who’s to say what area pays more or gives more leads then the other. Rip off .

I am a travel agent who specializes in destination weddings and honeymoons. The person who sold me the year-long advertising contract said that other travel agencies in my area were receiving 90 leads a year. I got an email from 3 price shoppers but didn’t get a single client in the entire year! I was lied to. I tried to get out of the contract but the company wouldn’t let me. I’m a single mom and I was literally throwing away $120 every month!

A total scam. 95% of my contacts were fake/scammers. Tons of technical problems and it took weeks to get support. My salesperson Lauren was a liar and promised features that were never delivered.

I signed up the second year I started weddings with the stipulation that I could cancel after a year on the dot. I read a few stories on redit but thought I was covered. I received a handful of inquires but mostly fake. I booked two weddings off of it and canceled once the year ended. They continued to charge me five months after I canceled even after trying to contact them multiple times. I had to file a complaint with my bank and prove to them that I canceled my account along with the back and forth emails with the knot agreeing to cancel the account. It was a nightmare and was only able to receive a partial refund. $400 and some change a month.

Won't take down an anonymous review. When I inquired why I cannot know who posted the review, I was told I should know who it is and they need to protect their reviewers. I then replied via email stating it sounds like they allow fake reviews, and they kept stating anonymous reviews with little context are allowed to stay up. Would not provide email addresses of the reviewer. Sounds like they allow bots to leave poor reviews on accounts who refuse to pay as adveritsers.

Wedding Wire will not let me change/remove photos from my account (the couple is divorced and doesn’t want photos of their wedding from 2016 online anymore, believe it or not). They also refuse to let anyone close their account unless they can prove their business no longer exists. It’s entirely a scam.

I am stuck in a contract with the knot/ wedding wire and feel like they have not lived up to their promises and won’t allow me to get out of the contract.
