Bottom line is they don’t care. They used to not care back in 2008 2009 and even 2010 neighborhood. Then Wedding Wire came out of nowhere and they were a really awesome company and I made a lot of good money off them over the years, then when The Knot started losing money. They started to Care. And I handsomely paid both companies because both companies were in competition with each other to outdo the other company and then what do you know one company buys the other one now they’re both the same company and once that happened they stopped competing because they owned their competition. There was no more needto compete, and all they wanted is our checks. They charge us a ridiculous amount of money and they raise their rate, and not even notify you that they’re doing it.

Go through the client flow as a paid advertiser on The Knot. You will see the scam with your own eyes. They sell it as geographic, but in reality, if the client is not in your EXACT market (for instance, a suburb of LA even though you pay for the LA listing), your business will not show up for what you pay for.

When we first started our photography company we signed up with wedding wire. We received only fake inquires for an entire year. No real ones. Wasted tons of money as a new business starting.

Once they merged customer service has gone downhill in my opinion. That on top of spam leads I'm no longer a fan. The Knot is essentially Wedding Wire 2.0

Prices are way too high and got nothing but scam emails. A waste of time and money.

Every real lead I converted into a client, but for every real lead there were four scam artists and five fake leads.

Many of our association members have been affected by these issues. We would like to ensure that this is fully investigated.

They did not allow me to cancel during COVID when we were all quarantined and had no clue when gatherings would be allowed again. What they claimed I would see in leads never happened before Covid too!
