I was also ripped off by wedding pro. I paid $2500 for a year contract and did not get one single booking. Now they are refusing to cancel my contract and want to charge me for another month [$208]. I had to cancel my debit card.

The original account manager lied about the contract, the 2nd one lied about all the details of the service and the 3rd seemed to try to get my account canceled since my contract was up, but even though it was canceled, they still charged me and tried locking me into another year contract. I had to file fraud against them to get unauthorized charges removed and now, 6 months later they claim I owe them money. This company is a scam

I took out a business loan in order to put this scam business into our advertising budget. High pressure, enormous monthly payments. We got absolutely NOTHING for our efforts. We were sent fake leads, that lead nowhere. We weren't even listed correctly in the listing directory. We were getting fake names from people who weren't even looking for OUR SERVICES. We had to change our bank accounts in order to stop this scam business. We have kept a record of every FAKE name lead we received. In the beginning we contacted EVERY fake lead name we received...but to no avail. We never got any responses. We got names for events that already have passed.. We need to start a class action lawsuit. Now we have low class lawyers leaving messages that we need to contact them and pay up!!

How sad to know this is happening so frequently. I have spent nearly $4000 with TKWW and not one single good lead has come my way. They lured me in with fake stats and phony promises that I would book so many leads in my area and till this day, 10 months later, not one. I have done everything they told me I needed to do to have a strong profile, good review, lots of photos, accurate information, quick response times, everything but not a single person replied. These leads are HORRIBLE at best and completely FAKE at worst! Do not work with this company. Now I have reached out to them to cancel my account and they have told me I am locked in to a 12 month contract. A contract works 2 ways, not just one. Where is my value? What have I gotten out of this arrangement? I need my account canceled now and they should be happy I'm not asking for a full refund! Do better.

Small business owner who was preyed upon by WP, TK and WW. Paid 1000’s of dollars for a year contract and cancelled membership. They then DELETED our knot profile completely.

They swindled my business out of thousands of dollars, repeatedly changed my bio, took my profile down when I stopped paying even though they said they wouldn’t delete it when I stopped paying, and lied to me over and over again! Biggest scam ever!!!!

They are crooks. They stole 3000 from me and didn't get a SINGLE lead. They promised I would make thousands of dollars each month and did not mention anything about a contract or how long the contract would be. They are liars and thieves and threatened me when I couldn't pay for the monthly agreement because I fell sick and did not work

I should mention that I am an unpaid advertiser on this site. However, I work with another advertiser who has been a Wedding Wire / The Knot client for many years. Nevertheless, there has been a marked uptick in requests that seem obviously fake over the past few years. Unfortunately, as business people we do have to treat them as legitimate.... taking our valuable time to reply. In speaking with many other vendors, it seems the overall service and care afforded by Wedding Wire and The Knot has fallen off from what it once was. Poor customer service and a general deterioration of the relationship between advertisers and The Company continue to be an unfortunate turn of events.

So many scam leads. The pricing is negotiable I spoke to many other Officiants in the same state that were able to negotiate a lower price for the same advertisement. Very unfair. If a couple requests my availability the Knot and WW will also send them 5 others Officiants saying you maybe interested in these Officiants too..

The amount of spam is untenable. The fake leads are annoying and far too frequent.
The pricing matrix is felicitous and nonsensical.

Wedding Pro (The Knot and Wedding Wire) scammed our startup wedding venue business into a 12 month $13,000 advertising contract that we couldn't exit even though terms of our agreement were not upheld. Upon completion of the 12 month contract the majority of the leads we received were from bots and we hadn't converted a single lead generated from wedding pro. We were promised a 5-7% conversion rate for our leads during the contract negotiation process. Weddingpro was overcommunicative before we signed our contract and once the contract was signed they were unresponsive and became absent from our requests for help, concerns about bad quality leads and eventually no response in requests to terminate our contract due to their failure to perform.
Inaccurate Leads and Misrepresentation: Misrepresented our listing on their website. Leads generated for wedding not in our locality and sometimes not in the country due to the incorrect venue categorization assigned by weddingpro. Zero converted leads from the platform. In first 3 months of contract received 100 leads, only 3 responses and zero bookings.
Nonexistent Communication: Despite numerous attempts to reach out to our designated account manager, we have been met with an eerie silence that is nothing short of disgraceful and disresepctful. Effective communication is the cornerstone of any business relationship, and WeddingWire's blatant neglect in this regard is inexcusable. We do not receive a response in under 48 hours, sometimes weeks before a response.
Costly and Misguided Advice: When we initially signed up with WeddingWire, we were given shockingly poor advice. We were encouraged by the sales person Sage to double our venue rental fees to stay competitive. We disagreed with this but ultimately followed this advice, believing it came from a reputable expert. However, this decision has cost us dearly, resulting in a substantial loss of potential bookings and business which has seriously challenged us finan
