This petition is in regards to the recent change in commission for The Kase artists from 10% to 5%. 5% is completely unacceptable and we have not agreed to this new renumeration. Had we known this was the commission to start, we would not have uploaded our work in the first place. We do not work for only 5%.
We have watched excitedly as The Kase has grown, have cheered you (and us) all along, celebrated in your (and therefore our) success, shared on our social networks. We really had high hopes to grow right along with you. However, to our dismay, instead of sharing your success by rewarding the very artists who helped create that success, you have undercut and in essence hurt the artists instead. The very same artists who your business model is centered upon, and that wish to continue to sell their work in your stores with a fair commission.
We all feel that these new terms are counter to the successful relationship The Kase has established with its roster of artists and ask you to reconsider the terms. We wish to resolve this with a return to the Print on Demand industry standard of 10% commission per sale. However, as a last resort we have collectively decided that if a fair resolution can't be reached we will be forced to remove our designs from the site until such a resolution can be agreed upon.

The Kase remains completely silent while they continue to profit off our stolen labor. They think we will just roll over and accept this pathetic pay cut but they are dead wrong. We are currently organizing a mass removal of our designs if they refuse to put our commission back to ten percent.

I am an accomplished artist and refuse to make any less than 10% commission for my art on any product. I would rather invest in a 3D printer and open my own store for my followers. Over 23 years experience creating and selling art, I may die as a "poor artist" but I will have my dignity!
Can we put the word "promote" in the petition, because we all do a lot more than "sharing" in our social networks. Like S6 and other sites, we do their marketing for them. How has The Kase marketed for us? Sure we gain from promoting, but they get the most gain for sure, free marketing, they love it!
5% is not the standard for this industry, 10% or above is, you need to raise your standards to keep the artist you already have
i have already removed all my designs.unfortunately 2 of my designs made it to the in-store selling.never again.10 % is also nut much.but 5 %???NO THANX!
I agree 100% Janet......when I think of the hours I have spent on promoting theKase, I get sick. probably hundreds of hours, FOR FREE!!! . My precious time, WASTED! When you get to my age, time is everything. Shame on me, BUT BIG shame on them.....treating a Nana and so many aspiring or very accomplished, wonderful artists this way....shame, shame..............I think I will paint tomorrow!!!!! I love it so! Maybe Plein Air and make a REAL SALE!
I was really negative surprised when i saw how much i got from one sale.
I am still very angry they did this.

Now that the company is finally opening more stores and becoming more successful, they chose to cut out commission percentage. That's pretty greedy! Without us providing their designs, they wouldn't have even become successful! 5% is insulting.
