The Jinx has been the main place I have been going to since Savannah allowed all age shows when I was a teenager (20+ yrs ago). It has and always will be a core part of the music scene of Savannah. It is focused around the music community and therefore welcomes all types of people; creating a positive environment. The Jinx adds something to our community and deserves to continue to be a Savannah institution for people to enjoy and explore music.

The Jinx has always been an integral part of the local music scene in this city for as long as I can remember. Many folks have been waiting patiently for the revival of this place that we all call home. Savannah isn't quite the same without The Jinx.

The Jinx was where I spent a lot of time when I was here in my 20’s and miss the atmosphere as well as the amazing live music and themed nights that used to happen there. I moved back to this area almost two years ago and was sad to see it had closed. It was my home away from home and I am excited at the thought of it re opening in the Starland district.

I firmly believe the Jinx will be a positive addition to our community (as they always have been). I also think they will have gone above and beyond to reach out to neighbors and take suggestions from the community, including adjusting their proposed hours.
