What can I say about THE JINX that hasn't been said? It was my home away from home and the place I met my tribe. If you wanted to be part of something THE JINX was it. Bring back that feeling.

We need the JINX! It was a pillar of our community, brought tens of thousands of people together over the span of a couple of decades! HIP HOP NITE was one of those movements at the JINX that united, inspired, saved, uplifted us through the culture with music, lyrics, dancing, camaraderie, and so much more! It's a pivotal part of the arts that made Savannah what is is today! Bring it back! Let's restore the culture! HIIIIIIP HOOOOOOP!

We need the Jinx to reopen!!! The Jinx is extremely important to the local art scene here in Savannah and brings revenue to the city by supporting touring bands and providing a place for community!!!

Does Starland need another bar?
NO
Parking is already an issue.
There's already enough bars in Starland area. Plus victory north is literally less then a block away.
Drugs alcohol, theres wormhole. Overload of adult daycare with booze, Starland yard.
The list is much longer too for that area.
Let's not get into how much money Susanne owns to so many people locally, and the bands and events that didn't get paid.
Savannah doesn't need another bar... look at city market and why it's got its problems that it does.
Starland is becoming the next area that will become a repeat problem.
More drinking to easier accessible major roads i.e Victory, Bull, Abercorn..more dui wrecks.
You asked for opinions and signatures. Well not everyone shares the same mindset

We loved The Jinx for nearly 20 years and were heartbroken when it closed. I interact with many well-respected musicians from across the southeast and so many of them, as soon as they learn I’m from Savannah, they ask me about the Jinx. It’s a well-loved local institution — a place that always felt like coming home, and one that we’ve missed dearly. We NEED the Jinx back!!!

The Jinx is an integral part of Savannah's musical and entertainment history. It was an anchor of Ellis square at a time when a lot of people didn't want to go downtown. The Starland area is the perfect new home for them and and their presence in Starland will fit very nicely into the existing and future uses of the district. The Jinx ownership, management and staff have always run one of the safest and most professional venues in town and that trend will continue with this new location. They're continued presence in Savannah will only be good for our history, our culture, our art/music scene, tourism and for Savannahians in general.
