Please ignore this comment, it is unfair "The fact that Mr. Kaufmann, one of the town engineers is delayed on his way home during rush hour should alert you to the real reason for the project." Elliot Benton

This is completely unnecessary and will create more problems than it is supppsed to solve .

The ghost of Robert Moses is haunting Grenville Road. This proposal is both unnecessary as a traffic management matter and totally insensitive to the character of the neighborhood. Surely there is a more pressing need for the proposed expenditure of State and Town tax dollars.

I don't believe this a worthwhile expense for the town.

Fits the Greenwich motto of "You may find better but will never pay more". Or, let's find something we don't need and pay a lot of money for it.

Better to save the money for other town needs.

While somewhat awkward, the intersection is safe and efficient. I have no idea why it would be changed, budget issues or not. I have lived on Rock Ridge for 13 years and never experienced or seen an issue.

We live on Huntzinger Drive, a short distance from the intersections affected, and drive through them every day. I see absolutely no need for the expensive proposed changes. I rarely have to wait at either intersection, and if I do, it’s for a small amount of time. I wait longer turning out of Huntzinger onto Glevnville. This money would be must better spent elsewhere or not at all.

As someone who uses this intersection regularly, i feel that the sporadic congestion does not even come close to justifying such a huge expenditure of funds. Spend the money on the school system instead

I guess the DPW has run out of curbing projects... such a waste for β€œ0” benefits. Please back burner this until 2121. TY

What evidence or studies justify a project of this cost and magnitude? As a long time resident in the area I don't experience problems with these intersections or see how the proposed project would materially ameliorate traffic flow.

This is an extremely ill-advised project to fix something that doesn't require fixing. These are monies that could be so much better spent. Please do not fund this project.

There is no need for road construction so radical, costly, or disruptive. A major reconfiguring of the roadways is neither needed nor an intelligent use of funds.

This is a wasted amount of money that may be allocated for many other meaningful projects.
