This construction is not needed and is detrimental to the surrounding area.

Solution in search of a problem is exactly right. The idea that we would spend nearly $2M on this is completely ridiculous. The BET continually must balance competing interests on spending and taxation - this proposal manages to both upset the local population AND exacerbate an already tight budget. Just because there's federal grant $ to be found doesn't mean we need to invent a reason to take it. Especially for a project that offers residents the same utility a bicycle would provide to a fish.

Sewer Plant was tripled in size whilst filling in Salt Marsh bungle while spending Federal Dollars the Vast Greed Conspiracy Scam (VGCS just made that up) is part of plot to get TOWN to be a 200,000 CITY. Leaking pipes @ Cos Cob Harbor were just installed 30 years later by VGCSers freeing up Monopolist EverAquarion to get Transfer Station Fear Sale bigger water theft from Waterbury(Town) Watershed that stymies Bridgeport almost as much as TVA & EPA have. "Affordable" heart tugging Scam is part of Pave Baby Pave Movement. Bowels of circles will send more people up & down Pemberwick Road. I oppose this Circle of Greed AND the 2 Circles to decline in Village Character & hope we REAL TOWNIES unite to defeat VGCS(only part I made up was Acronym) Townie Taxpayers would rather make our Rivers & Streams Cleaner than send money to Sceamers. Andrea ( hope I don't get you in trouble at Town Hall where I am a Proud Pariah remember CT newcomer dun good Mark Twain got to the Nutmeg State & said Judge people not just by friend$ but by enemies) Your Comment inspired me to try the best I could to be nice to the others that are threating the most vulnerable my Fellow Geezers & Newborns who are Biking & Trike'n & Ride'n & Coaching now & in the FUTURE. Let the masses see more tailpipes for longer periods of time while rushing to their cubicles or spender locations waiting for Grandma out on her Daily Coach Ride. Bring back the wonderfully Natural Past & our incredible Future here as a TOWN btw: this online Petition is way cool! [first one for me] Have a few ideas for a few more? Or do you think we can be Town Rescue Force Or BOTH?

I do not think we need traffic circles at these two intersections. The disruption to existing homeowners and their lots is extreme and the proposed costs far outweigh the benefits.

The proposed works are not only unnecessary for safety reasons, but pose a threat to the environment surrounding the sites. Please do not proceed with this project.

I oppose traffic circles at the mentioned intersections. Traffic circles are a waste of tax dollars.

Thanks for taking this on. Other than dismissal time from Eagle Hill when there are police on site, there does not seem to be a need for such massive change. I grew to right off that space of road — patience not traffic circles is the solution.

Ridiculous waster of money. When are the politicians in this town going to understand that you do not need to waste money - all the time?

I fear it will also have a negative effect on the safety of those going in and out of Eagle Hill. There is no reason to have three circles that close to each other. We can see how cars fly through the one on Lake with drivers not following the rules.

With the taxes that will be imposed by the US Government and State of CT, we need our town adding to it!!!

I believe that this project will cause more congestion and accidents.

This project is just a waste of taxpayer funds and is not support by any safety data. THE DPW justification for the project is not convinvcing at all

This is a totally unnecessary project as the actual safety data doesn't support the project. Additionally, the cost of the project is excessive and a waste of tax payer funds.

This is a wasteful and unnecessary project that does not fit the character of the neighborhood.
