Unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to meet Joe until we were adults. In the time that I did know him, I can say that Joe was a good hearted caring human being and i am happy to contribute to any recognition in honor of him.

Joe was the glue that held everyone together on and off the field. If you had a problem Joe would fix it, he always knew what to do and say to make things better. and that smile ......made you smile:)

Joe would be a great addition to the Montgomery County Sports Hall of Fame. He was a winner and leader on the Field and a great friend. I have fond memories with Joe and he will always be missed but not forgotten.

growing up in Conshohocken and watching Kennedy football I would hear this name... Joe Bello. While I didn't get the chance to play with him, I was about 10 years younger. We would hear his name attached with "character" "pride" those are the qualities you wanted to achieve. Looking at stats he was a hell of a player, hearing people talk him him, he was a hell of a guy.
