My group has chosen to start a petition to impeach the 45th president Donald Trump. To impeach a government official means to charge them with crimes they are suspected of committing. These crimes could have happened before a person took office or while they were in office. It is important the government take a closer look at President Trump's personal and business ties in the United States and in other countries. We believe that President Trump is not only violating U.S. laws about engaging in personal and professional business dealing with foreign countries but her also has a non-democratic and dangerous approach to passing U.S. policy and laws. President Trumps bullying behavior along with his questionable business dealings and his relationship with Russia are definitely reasons for the House of Representatives to begin an investigation. Local state government should consider the people they represent and how they feel about this issue. Our goal for this petition is that the governmental representatives in our city and state understand how people in their district and state feel about President Trump. It is the responsibility of our representatives to voice our rights and opinions to the federal government. It is the House of Representatives and Congress's responsibility to act on behalf of the American people. It a majority of the people feel that President Trump should be impeached and there is reason to believe that crimes have been committed then an investigation should begin.
