Because we sit in this classroom rather often, and when I say this I think I speak for everybody, the chairs in the MS music room are really uncomfortable, making it hard to focus in class.
Hearing numerous complaints during classes, I’m aware that many many middle school students dislike or highly dislike the MS music rooms stools, often resorting to sitting on the floor or moving around very often around on one’s chair, trying to make it more comfortable, often distracting the class or irritating the teacher. As multiple students already have bad posture, these chairs are just making it worse. Often students will ask the teacher to get new chairs or replace them but despite these complaints nothing happens.
Although these chairs are not a large part of a classroom, it can be distracting, painful, or slightly uncomfortable, either way, these chairs can make a class or simple a few students distracted or highly uncomfortable. I say I speak from experience when I say that sometimes these chairs can even make it hard to concentrate in class, and I’m hoping this is the last thing teachers want. Especially in the music room, if you are a student like myself who has a seat towards the middle and not by a desk, there’s no space to put your pencil case or laptop, and by putting them on the floor, it’s easy to just move the chair onto the laptop, damaging sometimes. I hope furthermore it is uncomfortable and behalf of friends, peers and just other students, these chairs are not making classes any better.
