I would love to see a soccer field (or simply greenspace) to play a variety of activities - football, ultimate frisbee, soccer, etc.

Having purchased a home in this community recently we have loved exploring all the fun things to do within walking distance. I even added a new hobby: golf. We have truly loved having such a wonderful space in the Hiawatha Golf course and would love to see it become more of a year round destination as we love to nordic ski.

Please consider this new vision for Hiawatha! I've been skiing there since childhood; 38 years or so. It would be great to see this amenity evolve for the next generation of skiers. Thank you!

We support the Hiawatha Skiclubb's initiative to enhance and widen the use of Hiawatha Golf Course as a recreational resource for the city.

This is great! I often travel to further destinations in the metro area for weekday skiing, but having a place in my own backyard would be absolutely amazing! I would be inclined to once again invest in a MPLS Park & Rec ski pass. I have forgone these in the past due limited options that are fairly close to my house.

Thank you so much for your community leadership with Hiawatha golf course. We are so fortunate to live in the broader metro Twin Cities where we have lovely park opportunities for recreation.

I am a frequent skiier at Hiawatha, and would welcome improved amenities, snow, and multiseason, multipurpose trails. I also support efforts to increase the amount of natural area around lake Hiawatha and to reduce herbicide and pesticide use near the lake.

This would be an excellent resource for the south Mpls community and beyond.

Especially excited to see the course go to 9 holes and be used as a public space in the remaining area.

Let's promote activities in the parks that don't make use of fertilizers

It's time for a change! The current configuration of security fence around a massive 18 holes disrupts the cohesiveness of the local community, connection to parkland, and prevents general access to the lake.
It's time to open things up a bit!

Please consider not just the summertime usage of the land, but the wintertime too. I live in the neighborhood and ski there regularly. But I don't golf!
