As a long time Hiawatha golfer I find this proposal really refreshing. This part of a park system is an underutilized asset. I love the idea of bringing in a broader swath of the community and expanding amenities. 9 well designed holes works for me!

As a skiing family and speaking on behalf of the entire MN Youth Ski League (2000 members), we support outdoor trails development at Hiawatha!

In not sure if this part of the proposal but a path ALL THE WAY AROUND the lake seems to be what most people I talk to want. Pleas push for this as well.
Otherwise, I think this is a great idea.

I would love to see these proposed changes occur. Having lived near the park for nearly 7 years, I have not met 1 person who actually golfs at Hiawatha. I think that reducing the course to 9 holes and repurposing the extra space would so much better serve this community. I am especially in favor of a path that would go all the way around Hiawatha.

I think the ski club idea is outstanding! I would love to see More trails for biking running in skiing. A native plant plan should be incorporated. I would love there to be a social space for apres ski. Thank you for thinking creatively about the future of our parks!

i would really love to also explore how we can continue to grow the youth cycling happening in the city. Like a mtb bike practice course or a Cyclocross course to be utilized in the summer and Fall
