Rezoning this corner will change the landscape of a well established neighborhood. Blacksburg should want to keep this integrity even as it diversifies. This is not the spot ti rezone.

This is a rezoning issue not affordable housing issue…can support both…build within current zoning…the zoning as stands was approved for a reason…

I love the idea of affordable housing but not squishing an over sized project into an already hectic ; unsafe corner

I do not think the plan for this development fits with the character of the neighborhood. I believe there is a need for affordable housing, but there are better options.

The proposed four-story building on Country Club with Main will further disrupt traffic in its surrounding to an area that is already heavily congested. This is a TERRIBLE idea and it should NOT go forward for the sake of Blacksburg's current residents and the community that we stand for. The building is TOO tall and the population increase TOO high!

I am not opposed to affordable housing but do Not like the crowded busy place they intend to put this ugly building. We need to fight for the little green space left on Main Street.

Traffic in this area is already busy. I'm not opposed to affordable housing but not in that location.

This proposal is too dense, too tall and is unsafe for many reasons

I am about to move into Fiddlers Green and have recently learned about this Legacy Project. I have been traveling quite a bit on Country Club to get to my new house. The road is already too narrow for the traffic it carries. This project along with the project at the old Blacksburg School is going further stress all roads parallel to Main leading to and including Country Club. I ask the Town Council to not support this project without the proper improvements to roads around it.

I am a business owner in Blacksburg. While I support more affordable housing in Blacksburg near to public transportation, this proposed tower is an eyesore out of character with its surroundings. It also creates numerous safety issues and does not allow for any possibility of future Main St improvements.

As a homeowner in Blacksburg, I am very against the size and location of this structure. It would be better situated in a less dense area.

The narrow setbacks are appropriate for downtown but not for residential neighborhoods. Any expansion of Country Club Drive will be forced onto the homeowners on the opposite side of the street. We can do better than this.

I utterly oppose this rezoning and ask everyone else it would effect to do so as well.

There’s enough of this type of construction in Bburg: please keep this neighborhood in tact.
