It is my recommendation that the town council and planners give attention to the aesthetics, the functionality and the betterment of the Blacksburg community by balancing growth with the peaceful coexistence of man and nature. This proposal on this site is I’ll suited for the betterment of the Blacksburg community.

The developer needs to decrease density and increase the setbacks from the sidewalk to ensure the safety of their residents, pedestrians, cyclists and to plan for future growth in the town. Affordable housing is possible on this site. Please make these changes in the best interest of all current and future citizens. Work with neighbors and neighborhoods.

The wrong place for such a project; please DENY the zoning change. What good is zoning if it's so easily changed? People base their decisions on where to live based on zoning; i.e., expectations of future development. Who will profit from this change? Not the people living there!
