Far too many people for that one corner on a street that is already very busy and populated. My biggest concern is the increase in traffic at that already congested intersection. In addition the a lack of parking for the tenants, which will overflow onto nearby streets.

Country Club is already unsafe to walk on the sidewalk when there is any ice or snow since there is no extra space. What a nightmare it will be with so many additional cars exiting so near the intersection.

Four story residence on that corner is a bottleneck waiting to happen. Country club Drive can’t handle the funneled traffic.

I am supportive of low income housing in Blacksburg and am most impressed with the Habitat homes built on Church and Hemlock. However, this Main and Country Club project is too dense and too tall for the neighborhood. The density and traffic would be unsafe and the height and appearance are inconsistent with the area.

It makes no sense to shoehorn in a large building into this small space when there are other nearby properties nearby that would offer access to bus line and shopping.

It seems this is going to go the way of the old Blacksburg High site. Cram a huge number of units in a small site then rezone.
