This will be a huge safety issue due to traffic overload.

Do not pretend this is about doing lower income people a good turn by housing them in a concrete box with little or no green space at this busy intersection. This is about turning a profit and hoping to look good doing it. We have zoning for a reason.

Please don't allow this. Too much traffic

Please ask the developer to revise their proposal, which must include citizen input. The current proposal is too dense, too tall, does not adequately address unsafe conditions for pedestrians, cyclists and vehicles and is not compatible with surrounding neighborhoods.

Not the place for something like this.

Too dense for this location

Affordable housing is needed, and an acceptable plan should be able to be proposed within the existing zoning for the parcel. I do not support rezoning for this location, and I urge the council not to approve a rezoning request for the currently proposed project.

We dont need drunks and kids behind a school. Just because a big builder wants the land we dont need any more student housing

I am all for affordable housing in Blacksburg but this project is too big for this piece of land. Surely this town can find another site for a project this size.

This structure is out of place for its location. It’s too judge in many ways for the neighborhood and intersection. Please listen to the citizens of Blacksburg and nearby neighbors and consider a different location.

Please building according to parcel size. The proposed building is too large for the space. Also access on Country Club is already to narrow where it meets Main Street. Please reconsider.

The elevations are ugly and the traffic trying to go north on South Main will be impossible more times than not . New turn lane needed on north side of Country Club

Your intentions are right, but this is not the right place.

I urge the Town Council to vote NO to the current Legacy Project proposed for the corner of South Main and Country Club Drive. It is way to dense for a neighborhood and it is to many floors.
