Six weeks notice is not sufficient forsomething as big as the Keene Farmers' Market to make a reasonable relocation happen. Can't the parking lot work be delayed a year to accommodate either a temporary or permanent relocation of the Market? The Keene Farmers' Market is such an important part of our vibrant local economy and local food systems. Let's find a solution that can work out in the best interest of the whole community.

It looks like it's time to find a long term home for the Market, but let's have the solution in place before they are asked to leave Gilbo Ave.

Please keep the market in its wonderful location - it is one a few the few really good additions to Keene's downtown of the past decade and it would be a true shame to see it move to a less centralized location.

Please keep the Keene Farmer's Market where it has been for 15 years! Easy parking for customers, and a central location. Thank you.

It was very underhanded of the city of Keene to wait so long to tell us that you are kicking us to the curb. Shame on you. Please let The Farmer's stay where they are for this season. There is nothing wrong with the parking lot the way it is.

The Historical Society is hoping it works out to keep the Farmers Market where it is. We have an 18th Century Kids Camp in July. One of the most important and most loved events in our camps is teaching kids about 18th century bartering; walking to the Farmer's Market and bartering with the farmers for vegetables. The kids then cook for their families. It's a wonderful collaboration between individual farmers within close proximity to our historic Wyman Tavern.

The burden of this issue lies solely with the City of Keene for sloppy handling of critical information. Something of the magnitude of forced relocation should've been submitted to the market in writing no later than the end of last summer's market.

Hoping the City of Keene will postpone their parking lot revamp (perhaps until November 2015?) so that the Keene Farmers Market has time to find a new home and let customers know about the change of venue.
