Outside developers are trying to remove all the quaint places in Sarasota that make it unique. If this is allowed to happen Sarasota will become another mega trouble us.

Selby is a botanical garden and should remain that way. The expansion they are requesting is ridiculous for maintaining the “green space” they pretend to protect. With the 442 parking spaces and the crowds and traffic that will bring, no one will be able to see a single plant!

Selby Gardens is lovely in large part because it is quaint. In typical fashion there are other options to improve parking and yet only one option is offered. Sounds familiar. Follow the money.
