Sarasota already has too many high rise building, restaurants and shops that are empty a lot of time of the year. Drive around after dark and see the buildings w no lights on.

Save the trees! I am sure a garage was never Marie Selby's intention.

Hiw sad is this this incredible greed. Please don't ruin that area and those beautiful gardens. Sarasota looks terrible as it is with all of the newer buildings right on the street. Leave one untouched area alone.

The gardens as our family has come to call it had become our refuge, our calm happy place. We have been members since we moved to Florida almost five years ago. There is nowhere like to. We intended to choose one place each year to be be members, perhaps switching it up Disney or the children’s museum. But, we stuck with the gardens. The peace and calm, the orchids, the bromeliads, the art, the music...this is what our family needed - not more noise and entertainment. This is what the next generation needs.

This town is getting ridiculous! Let Nature RING and GROW. Selby is the last place that needs a garage. Let nature bloom in this area not cars!!!??
