Shelby Gardens is a cultural attraction where visitors are immersed in Sarasota nature. Please don’t remove another beautiful peaceful natural attraction and replace it by concrete. We’ve lost too much of our natural setting already.

Don't ruin a good thing. It's always been such a special quaint place. I've been a member for years. Use that garage money to hire back all the botanist you had to lay off.

No to this offensive plan. Just like what was done to Siesta Key public beach and all of downtown, this will be taking old Sarasota to the grave. Old Sarasota is dying right before our eyes. SMH!!!

I have been a member of Selby Gardens for several years, & I strongly oppose the proposal to expand, build a garage & restaurant. This would totally change the character of this beautiful oasis, and I would then discontinue my membership.
