I do not want the plan for the high rise garage and roof top restaurant at Selby Gardens to go through. I feel it is unnecessary, inappropriate for the gardens and the neighborhood, and contrary to the spirit of our town. Stop the embarrassing greed and glory-seeking of a few from spoiling paradise. While I do agree that the administrative buildings are in need of replacement and/or relocation, the rest of the plan is blatant glory seeking. The garden is now and can continue to be effective enough in its wide-ranging, world-renowned horticultural and community missions without the proposed overblown "improvements".
