Haven't you allowed enough concrete buildings? Have you looked at Golden Gate Point? It is a mass of concrete that has no rhyme or reason. So many different types of buildings all crammed together. It us awful. Then there is the monstrosity that you have permitted downtown. It is so intrusive, over bearing. We also have all the other buildings you have permitted. Thank God we have cemeteries, they will soon be the only green space we have left.

Selby certainly needs to be progressive and grow. This plan is more about an event facility not garden growth. There are other parking options so don’t let a “parking crisis” camouflage the real objective of Selby.

I only wish I could afford to visit Selby Gardens. Ticket prices are very expensive, especially to bring a group of visitors!

Enough is enough! Sweet deals seem to be reserved for the high rollers. In this town. Build your restaurant out east. Save the gardens

I feel it the grounds should be left and used in the way the donor intended. Enough expansion already...If restaurant owner needs a new restaurant go out East ...like other large entities. i.e. Mote Marine

I am against the development of Selby Gardens. As a long time resident in this area I love what Selby has to offer. Makes us unique. And I value the neighborhood in which it is situated. We need a plan which will protect both while allowing both to thrive.

Please keep Selby Garden's the way it is. NO PARKING GARAGE! There is too much urbanization happening in Sarasota and it is no longer the lovely city we moved here for.
