A terrible idea. Have been a member on and off of Selby Gardens since 1983. Killing that many trees and destroying the existing Gardens to make room for that overpowering and unnecessary building is tragic and a HUGE mistake. Money isn't everything. Honor the existing Gardens by stopping this horrible plan. It will ruin Selby Gardens if allowed to be built. Please don't !!!!

$$ = Change for the wealthy’s net worth while stealing value from the citizens of Sarasota county. It’s well past time to consider effects as long term detriment for short term profits driven by greed.

So sick of all of the new buildings going up in downtown Sarasota. Builders and developers need to move on. All they are interested in, is making money. There are only so many roads in the area. Does anyone think about how people will be able to access the area, because of traffic. My son and his wife were married at Shelby Gardens. It is so beautiful. Leave it alone!

This would be a tragic loss to southeast Florida!! Selby Gardens is a treasure that should never be compromised and this plan would destroy irreplaceable trees and other flora!!!

I'm a Sarasota native and in utter shock and extreme disgust over what is being proposed for Selby Gardens. Will you land grabbing idiots leave this place the way that it is.... Its beautiful and a treasure to Sarasota.
