Think on the people that live on the Island and less on your own benefit.

I am a long time visitor to SXM for 11 weeks each year. Over the years I have seen the "dump" increasing in size to almost the hight of surrounding hills. Also witnessed several fires in the past, and read about study after study being done to solve the problem but NOT ACTION has been taken!! Dose not matter who is in government, this should be a non partisan project.!! DO SOMETHING, you are killing your own citizens.

Stop the burning. Find a solution and whatever has yo be done, let it be straight forward, no side kick that will not enrich a group

Since I was a kid this was already a problem. Thirty something years later and it still is? Come on now SXM government, step it up already!

For the benefits of residents and visitors please solve this health hazard as soon as possible. It not only pollutes the air but also the Great Bay after emptying pond water in the ocean.

Those fumes poison your kids and grandchildren the same as mine and it is not exactly a tourist attraction either.

St. Maarten needs a better way to deal with waste. A more nature friendly way which is not onlygood for St. Maarten but is also good for the earth.

This is just awful! Even though we only spend 2 weeks (every year since 2005), my concerns are not only for the visitors but also for the amazing people of St . Maarten... Figure something out before people stop wanting to visit this beautiful island!
