Yes I if the government can also stop buying cruz ships trash to make money and not think about the island dump problems ... Will be just clever !

This definitely needs to stop. You are polluting the environment and you need to take charge of the situation. You have an island with people that are breathing in this and it is affecting everyone.

Completely and totally inexcusable!!!

This is a serious problem to my health, I cant breath in this smoke.

I didn't move back home to die. My eyes and longues have been burning and my asthma has flared up. This situation has to be top priority and resolved or will it take the WHO to get involved???? The smoke is travelling out to the cruise ships. What are you going to do when they cancel and stop coming here?

I'm currently aboroad studying, however each time i go back home on vacation, it seems like the problems are getting worse and worse and nothing is being done about it. I'm glad for this and I hope this will be a step in the right direction to making some big changes!

Sad to see that a petition needs to be signed for the government to take the dump situation serious. In the staatregeling van Sint Maarten artikel 22 thats their job...and when people don't do the job they suppose to do they get fired....
