The day that the dump began to burn I had a severe reaction to the polluted air, I could barely breathe for almost 24 hours and I worry how it may be affecting the health of the citizens of philipsburg. So please do something to stop the pollution of this beautiful island, my home.

PLEASE don't let my "home away from home" CHOKE TO DEATH! Invest in and QUICKLY move on clearing out the Sanitary Landfill, build the needed incinerator, and restore clear air to the lovely people of St. Maarten

This was and is the most disgusting part of my visit. After many years and many fillings this is the end of the salt pond and the history of st. Maarten. Many more changes and i have to find somewhere else to go

As a visitor to the island, I feel so bad for those who must breathe the air emitted by this disgusting landfill on a daily basis. Please do something about it.
