This dumb is not only an eye soar but also and most of all a serious health hazard. If government is really serious about this matter and cares for the people this would be one of their priority.

I find that we need a change in St. Maarten especially the places where people carry the tourists them around. Mostly for our selves because our environment needs to be kept clean at all times. It can make a big damage and people can get hurt from it God forbidden. WE ASKING FOR A CHANGE BY RIGHTS

This is a very unhealthy situation and a torn in the eye so in the middle of philipsburg which is supposed to be the main attraction for tourists who come to Sint Maarten. How can the people of Sint Maarten live healthy like this??

This just needs to stop. Google the dump on St Maarten and see how many article there are regarding this ongoing problem for almost 20 years.

If local residents are complaining, think what the tourist will do next. That's right. They will go somewhere else. No tourism-no income.

About time the government do something about this. Recycling should be mandatory with penalties for persons or companies who refuse to..
