Is there not one multi millionaire or billionaire that comes here every season with their private jets and their toys, that are willing to help?

It's tragic to see this beautiful island being treated in such irresponsible way. Visited it every year since 2009 and things are getting worst with every visit!

I have been to St Maarten three times now. 10 years ago was my 1st time. I was just there last week, what a change in the garbage everywhere! I love this Island, but until they do something about the garbage situation, I will not be back! I know alot of others that feel the same way! Time for recycling too!! Please!!!

I am bronchitic asthmatic and everytime there is fire in the dump I had to suffer a lot and miss the work. Looks like dying a slow death.

It is very sad that it has to reach to this. This is a complete health hazard especially to young children who goes to school in that area. It is time for a solution. Let us put our minds together.

Be THE friendly island! Stop pollution! Think of the (nearby-)future! Tourists will go elsewhere and not visit St Maarten.

I visit St. Martin every year in the month of April. I will discontinue my visits if this problem is not rectified.

My sweet SXM, is what i use to call my land but i feel the need not to call my land sweet SXM no longer. And it's sad to say. But our lovely GOVERNMENT OF SXM is not concerned as to what is really important for this island, their concerns are in other things that is not soooooo important. Our GOVERNMENT NEED TO STEP UP THEIR GAME.....

If needed there I no shame in asking for help from outside our island.
