Why: As the Covid-19 crisis continues and with continued community support we can collectively help keep our local business open, keep the activity on the square alive and fresh, possibly even encourage growth by showing we are changing with the times.

Who: Local Residents of Bryan

What: Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA). The DORA is a predetermined mapped out area which includes downtown businesses and allows you to carry a purchased adult beverage outside, in a special cup, and into other participating locations as well as the DORA district. Signage would clearly display the DORA boundaries as well as the participating locations and hours of operation. Defiance and Napoleon both have an active DORA district and recently Bowling Green has submitted a DORA application for their community.

When: Signatures will be presented at the next City Council Meeting to demonstrate the community support of the DORA in efforts for them to approve the initiative.
