Cut the Chief Executive's ridiculous salary if you want to save money or justify what he does to warrant a salary higher than the Prime Minister.

The Council proposes to charge each first football team £600 for the use of one field for 10 home games. A Club with a second team also will be charged £450 for the use of one field for 10 home games. Subsequent and mini teams are also charged a levy. One club I have recently spoke to has stated that their bill for next season would be £1,800 !!!! thats just one club! How do the council expect a club to be able to afford this type of money on top of training fees, insurance fees, kit / kit washing fees, league fees, SWFA fees, referee fees etc etc etc ... & this is simply a football club. These charges apply to cricket, rugby, bowls etc.... The proposed charges will simply price clubs out of existence!! The knock on result to society will be catastrophic.......

Some information on the proposed charges might be a good starting point of any discussion!!

They could raise this money easily by just sacking the overpaid Chief executive.

sport is the backbone to many societies, It helps children and Hong people develop friendships, improves grades in school, those who actively participate in sport are less likely to be involved in crime, it helps with various disabilities, and also helps with health.... Sport gives children something to inspire to, something fun and safe to enjoy... You cut or change this service you will see the ripping affect for decades to come... Grow a backbone and stop cutting thing that children depend on... Get rid of pcso's before sport!!

I understand that times are hard but yet again it's the end user that suffers. The people you should be focusing on when thinking about cuts are the people who make these stupid proposals. To many middle manages start by making cuts there. I worry what will be left for children to do!!!!!

Perhaps our kids and young people would be better off sitting around on benches or playing their football in Taff St.

What do we actually pay council tax for ? I pay so much of the sodding stuff I'd have hoped to get the odd mowed field for the price !
