When the legislators wake up everyday and put on a uniform, and risk thier life for ours, then they can have a say. Until then, leave the politics at home.

Why won't you grant this Sheriff's Deputy a waiver, he has put in ten years of his life to protect our community. This is how we treat our employees that are dedicated and loyal to us. Just unreal that we don't take care of them.

I do not know the Davis family but it seems to me that if this man puts his life on the line every single day to protect us, it's only fitting that he be able to stay in his home and continue to work for Broome County. Come on Debbie (Preston)! Stand up for your employee!!

This sheriff puts his life one the line every day and yet they can't approve his request to live in his new house ON THE BORDER of Broome County?!? If he's going to continue being a good cop and showing up for work like he's supposed to, this shouldn't be such a huge ordeal!

I attended the legislator meeting and was shocked at the way the whole "discussion" went! There was really no discussion and one of the legislators called for a vote after agreeing to discuss and table it for s later vote. He knew exactly what he was doing! What an embarrassment !! Very unfair!
