I was approved for a waiver when I was employed there. The law is so archaic and it is time to remove it from the books.

Come on, Let's get real. Let Sgt. Davis live where he chooses. This is absurd.

As an exceptional human being and a standout member of the community, Officer Davis deserves to be able to live in a home that both fits his families needs and his budget. The Broome County Legislature should have no qualms about granting Officer Davis a residency waiver.

It is a sad state of affairs when an elected official refuses to support an outstanding member of the police community. I hope the people of Broome county remember this at election time.

I lived on the corner of Bornt Hill Road and E. CAmpville growing up. Technically our house was in Tioga Co, but we went to U-E schools and were definitely more Broome County than Tioga County. An arbitrary line should not mean a lack of common sense and justice.

This law needs to be waived so a family can retain their new home, and a wonderful police officer retain his job rather than disrupt their lives for a line that separates the counties. LET'S BE SMART AND DO THE RIGHT THING.

I am happy to sign this petition but saddened that it's come to this. I 100% support my friend Sam and his beautiful family.

I support Amira and Sammy Davis. As a taxpayer in the County of Broome. Stop trying to make something more difficult than it needs to be.
