The Davis Family

Great person and hope all works out for his family.

I worked under Sergeant Davis for an entire summer as his intern. He is a fantastic law enforcement official and the Broome County Sheriff's Office is lucky to have him. He is an amazing person and I have learned so much from him. I would hate to enter the Corrections Academy and learn that Sam Davis will not be my training Sergeant. I believe it is unfair to withhold an opportunity for the Davis family when it has been granted in the past. Please allow the Davis family to live in Tioga County so Sergeant Davis will not lose his career that he has worked so hard for. His family relies on his income. Please do not take this away from them.

Grant the waiver!!

I think The Davis family should be able to live anywhere they want. A house doesn't make you any less dedicated to the community you work and serve in.

It's only a few feet give the poor guy a waiver, just think of all the times he put his life on the line for this community!!!

Would not be were I am today without Deputy Davis. It would be an instrumental loss to Broome County if they were to let him go over a minute issue.

Broome County has benefitted from Sgt. Davis' police training expertise for years - to lose him over this would be a disservice to the entire community - civilian and law enforcement alike.

Sam Davis has faithfully served his community for several years. The legislators and people should show their support and appreciation for his dedication, commitment, and sacrifice.

Please reconsider this decision, especially considering they are partly in the county. It would be different if they were dozens of miles away from Broome County.

I really hope our legislatures re consider and grant Sam the OK! Good luck Sam, I hope you are able to keep your job in the end.

Please ... show some flexibility to one of our own heroes.

If this doesn't pan out I'm sure Tioga County Sheriff's Office would more than interested in hiring Sammy.

Please allow Sammy and his family the work and personal fulfillment they deserve. Serving the community as he does is not an easy task and he deserves our thanks and appreciation, not a struggle like this! Thanks for all you do, Sammy!

I do not see why if the property is in both counties why the problem

This is a no-brainer. Please help us support SGT Davis

Please let this officer his home and job. This is a ridiculous waste of tax payer money.

i think we have more important things to worry about than if someones house is partially in another county.
