We ask that you reconsider your decision. Our law enforcement have so much on their plate. Why add more. If the worst problem is one will live on the boarder of Broome county, then so be it.

This is a archaic rule, and it needs to be changed. Sgt. Davis should be judged on his job performance not on his address.

Broome county is so wrong on this issue. Public servants risk their lives every day. What if Broome county failed to respond to a 911 call because of a multiple property boundary located partially in both counties. You can bet the fallout would cause them to think twice. This is a game of playing favorites with this family. Shame on you Broome county.

I worked with Sammy for years and he has been an asset to the Sheriffs Dept. He has the best personality and has worked hard to earn his position in the department. Getting rid of him would be the worst decision the legislature has ever made. The fact that the issues is that he lives just YARDS from the county line should not even be a factor and a variance is the only decision that makes sense. Come on Broome County, keep this asset to the Sheriffs Department!
