THE "no" voters on the board are trash!

Sammy is a great asset to the department. It would be a shame to loose him over something so trivial.

It doesn't seem fair that you pick & choose who you give waivers to

Please allow this wonderful family to have the waiver that Officer Sam Davis has requested. Our officers do so much for us it's not too much to ask to allow this waiver.

The only right choice here is to allow a waiver for the Davis family

Sgt. Davis has served Broome County tirelessly for many years. He has earned the right to continue his service to Broome and live in the home that is best for him and his family.

Waivers have been granted in the past. This one should be granted too.

No family should be put in a position like this, especially a family with a man who has been protecting our community for years.

The Davis should be granted the waiver since part of the property is in Broome county as well as the properties assigned school district.

They have signed waivers before , he is already on the job, do not spend the money to have to hire and train a new deputy

In a time where politician's and the public should show unwavering support of those people that have CHOSEN to protect and serve the public, I find it shameful to penalize someone just because of where they live when there is clearly a means in which everyone benefits. Our legislature needs to stand behind this family and this man who has voluntarily submitted his life along with every other uniformed officer to protecting those same legislature members and their families. There are so many other difficult decisions which the legislative body should be addressing, this matter SHOULD NOT have become the issue it has. Grant this man a waiver and let him continue to serve Broome County residents.

Thank you Sam for all you do for our community. Please reconsider granting the waiver. Best of luck to this wonderful family.

We also had to move because of being over the border in Tioga county back in 2000. They should change the policy to response time. I hope this family gets to stay.
