I agree with what this young lady has said. It is not her fault that people don't know how to count.

This young lady should not pay for the judges mistake. Learn to count or bring in a 1 st grader that knows how.

I personally believe that if any of these "signers" read the news post on this topic they'd all agree that you do not deserve this crown, and that you do not exemplify the meaning of Miss 4th of July. You really disgust me.

I feel from what I've read about this incident that this girl Molly should not have to be penalized for others mistakes. If someone else was speed to win they should of made sure they had everything right before Molly was crowned. I don't know why afterwards she would be contacted and given the ultimatum to either lose or share. Makes no sense to me.

I do not know any parties involved in this fiasco that I am aware of. As an outsider looking in, I have to say that it is a shame that adult judges could/would do this to a young girl. not just Molly but the young girl who they are saying should have won. Imagine the ill feelings that this has caused. imagine the "bullying" it could cause. All because of adults. We blame the children but........look who is the cause!! Molly should keep the crown. Because these are young, fragile, impressionable girls, this should never have come to fruition. I hope that this can be settled and done with but I suspect adults have created a hornets nest. Good luck Molly. I hope the right decision is made. If it is not, please, please, handle this with grace and dignity for everyone involved. to all that know of this disaster, YOU ARE THE WINNER.

After reading the article in the Waterville Morning Sentinel this morning, I believe someone on the committee was disappointed that someone they wanted to win did not. And as committee members all of you should be embarrassed to even bring this up to the public. If you can't count you should not be on the committee, you all should go back to grammar school and learn to count. You are doing nothing but, making fools of yourselves. This young lady should not be punished for your mistake, if it is even a mistake. Miss Molly should not have her crown taken away from her or even have to share it. with someone else. Sounds like this committee are grown up idiots. Go back to school and don't present yourself in public until you can pass a basic math test.

Let her keep her crown, she won it fair and square, not her fault they can't seem to count!

It was unethical to make you have to share your crown when you are fully entitled to it. How terrible this even came up as a debate. Really? #UNETHICALJUDGES
