The Cove at West Hills - CONCERNS!

Can Broome handle the traffic this subdvision will generate? Ater all, its such a small, narrow road that winds through West Hills and empties onto Middlebrook, where there is no traffic light.

We live on Marlboro Rd. There is already a sizable sinkhole forming on the outside of our property due to storm water. I am very concerned that this construction will exacerbate this problem. I also have concerns about the increased traffic on Broome Rd (which is way too narrow and dangerous). These issues need to be addressed before any proposals are approved

The fact that the developer has been so evasive to the neighborhood makes it stink to high heaven - that confirms that the design is bad.

We are concerned about water run off ,increased traffic and devaluation of existing residences.

We live on Lennox Dr which is right down the hill from this development and we already have a problem with a rushing creek in our yard when it rains hard. We’re concerned about more water in our yard and what we are going to have to look at when these 42 houses are built. We have a very low crime neighborhood and it’s a beautiful place to live. Let’s not mess that up! It sounds like a low income housing government project with all those small houses on a quarter of an acre each.

I’ve signed the petition but I know 7 more who live on Broome who do not have access to email who would be willing to sign! How do we add those names?

Does this # of homes in that small amount of acreage meet neighborhood guidelines? Sounds like a lot of soulless Knox boxes that will diminish the charm of our established neighborhood.

This proposal is lacking in essential details; the residents of the neighborhood need more time to find out what is involved.

I am opposed to a development on which no critical details have been provided. The fact that the developer has refused to meet with the homeowners raises my suspicion that there is no plan other than a diagram.

I grew up in Austin, Texas and witnessed this exact thing happen without any regard for traffic or neighborhoods. This property does not need to be developed. There is no shortage of housing in Knoxville requiring every square foot of land to have a subdivision built on it.

This would cause way too much traffic on curvy Broome Rd.

Lot sizes need to not exceed average lot sizes in West Hills. Broome Road too dangerous for additional traffic.

NO. Too many proposed houses for this area.

The developers need to go back and come up with a comprehensive plan that FITS the current neighborhood, meaning larger lots.
