Prince George's County constituents want the County Council and the County Executive to support CB-42-2025. We want to have a voice when it comes to development where we live. Please sign this petition if you are a resident of Prince George's County and you believe the people of this County should have a voice.
Please no more townhomes or apartments bunched up & on top of each other. If you have to build, build a community of smaller affordable detached single level family homes with spaces on both sides of the home like decades ago. But, not these large Colonial style homes that cost a fortune.

The county council either should make it memorandum to let the public vote or make sure the people are involved.
Im tired of losing our beautiful land to developers. We are so over developed as it is. We also have too many empty buildings and shopping centers that could be reused or torn down for other purposes. Stop building new.

I support this petition and do not buy the arguments from the developer community regarding the consequences of its passage. There is a reason that plans have been thought through, voted on and approved. We must not allow end-runs around these constraints just to support the profit motive of certain developers facilitated by their elected friends in office.

Poor development planning leads to poor schools, poor traffic and transportation, poor small businesses, and poor community. Poor oversight leads to poor planning. It's time to step up oversight by residents on development planning instead of Council letting developers have their way with no regard to quality of life and community in PG County.

There has been a lot of residential development in the County without the appropriate improvements to infrastructure to support this growth. This is irresponsible and has negatively impacted the traffic and other aspect of the quality of life in the area.

We the people of P. G. County should have a voice in the decision making of this matter. If building up or tearing down in this county will affect the value of our property, then we should be able to vote and voice our concerns and opinions.
