Please cut the police! Please fully fund the schools! The schools contribute to the future of the community. The police only divide and antagonize.

Our students can't afford to have cuts. Classes are already too large, teachers overburdened and underpaid, and students don't get enough time with caring adults as a result. Find a way.

KPS teachers already face larger than average class sizes, and a lack of funding that requires then to buy many of their own classroom supplies. If you care about the community, invest in its future.

I work as a BT at a local autism center, and I can account first hand why children need programs for proscoial skills, why they need more funding in their education, and why teachers deserve more than 11 an hour. House keepers make more than that without even needing a high school diploma

How tone deaf must these people be to seriously consider cutting the public education system's budget while boosting that of the police. In these times? It is a terrible message that is being sent to our communities. Public education is more important to the city of Kalamazoo than its police.

It is completely disgusting how boldly the elected officials DO NOT care about the well-being of every single child in KPS! When one child suffers they all suffer and become disconnected to truth and love and peace. We DEMAND you consider the children before you consider your pockets.

My son is headed into 3rd grade next year. The system is already bolstered by teachers and parents, do not make these cuts to our children's educations and futures.

All the hard work and dedication from teachers shouldn’t be followed by budget cuts! If you cut their budgets and take away learning opportunities, that’s causing a negative impact on the kids. We are supposed to be teaching the upcoming generations to love, not to hate, to think, and to be great citizens. If we keep taking away resources for teachers, we are going to see that in the children who then become citizens of our country. If we want all this hate and all these struggles to stop, we need to teach the kids who will be the ones following in our footsteps. They will be the path to the upcoming decades. We don’t want history to keep repeating itself. Let’s give more to teachers vs taking away so they can do their job, and the world can start on the right path to recovery.
