We definitely oppose this site it is going to have a big impact on this quiet area of caerau we live on the back lane and the thought of having these big heavy lorries passing through is just not acceptable its a lane in countryside not built for a landfill site totally unacceptable and the letters we have recieved does not explain any of the proposed plans .

Ridiculous. Not even our council. Do they know how busy the surrounding areas are, not to mention the close proximity of the schools.

I know friends living near the site whose community life and quality of living will be very adversely affected by this proposal.

i think its riddiculas to even consider putting a landfill in our community many of us use the area quite offen on walks with the children it would be ruined with fear of them being run over ect having hgvs driving up and down the narrow roads is idiotic to say the least

I totally am against this landfil site using cwrt yr ala road .congestion at school drop off and pick up times at the junction of caerau lane and cwrt yr ala rd is bad enough as it is never mind throwing in a few hgvs for good measure. Also the amalgamation of the now closed Glyn derw high school with michalston college is going to put the top of heol trelai traffic lights under even more strain at peak school drop off and pick up times you queue down to the zebra crossing as it is ,this is an accident waiting to happen.

We do not want this extra traffic in our area. Can you imagine the council wanting to build one in Cyncoed or Lisvane. It would not happen. It just shows they could not care less for Ely and Caerau. There are loads of young families with children, it will be too dangerous. Come on council lots and M Ps. Do your job and support us.

This area is a residential area with several local schools and nurseries close to the proposed site. The road they wish to use is a small road already heavily contested and problems with street parking. Once again Ely, Caerau is the scape goat for whatever "rubish"councils want to push/force into place!!! You cannot squeeze anything else into this overpopulated community without some tragedy happening!! Everyone needs to stand up and use their voice to stop this!!

can't get cardiff highways maintain the roads as it is, who is going pay for the extra damage to the roads with upto 4 hgv's a hour going to this site us in cardiff for the vale to benefit, and the road is not big enough for such traffic

No Lorries should drive through family housing estate. Will massively affect value of private housing. The gateway to our countyside will be obstructed.

Too close to residential area absolutely ridiculous they haven't informed residents. Another cunning plan to obtain planning permission by stealth without the knowledge of people actually affected by the proposed plans. I for one object in the strongest possible terms.
