I am totally against this an think it is the worst idea ever to have come from officials, never mind that it is a lovely well kept space, what about the wildlife..?

Bloody ridiculous, the roads wouldn't cope with traffic, and the smell all across Ely and Caerau would be horrendous, go put it on your own doorsteps, not ours!

How can they put a landfill site so close to a housing estate. Crazy.

This is a Vale of Glamorgan project that will only affect the residents of Cwrt-Yr-Ala Road (and the surrounding streets, all who have to use Cwrt-yr-Ala Road,) This narrow road, which is situated outside of the Vale of Glamorgan, and falls under the boundary of Cardiff Council. Unbelievable.

This is surely a joke ? Put it next to the House of Commons or next to the palace ...........? Exactly .. Don't be so daft as to suggest the people of Ely will be happy with it Either !!!

We don't need this in a highly populated area....

I object to this as Cwrt y Ala road is a busy road with lots of vehicles along it already. There are also crowds of children who walk along this road and the surrounding area to get to school. Not only would this be disgusting for the local area but it would also create more traffic and further risks for the children crossing the roads.

Wrong location

The disruption that the tipper lorries would cause would be catastrophic to road users. The environmental issues would be massive and house prices would plummet

There are better places to put a landfill site. In one of the poorer areas where there are lots of children doesn't make sense. Or maybe they are less likely to put up the fight !

I think this is an outrage they may have reduced the hrs that the HGV's can travel, however the timings are around school hours any way so disruption is inevitable. It is virtually impossible to get out of my street during the school rush hours as it is, this will not improve matters. The children who walk to the 3 school in the area will be at more risk with this proposal.

I object to this proposal as a caerau resident on the edge of Cwrt yr ala rd I feel this is not a sensible proposal for the community. Not to mention the price of houses dropping in the area there is the safety of 3 schools and a park to consider as well as the disruption to the road users in the surrounding area

3 schools create a lot of traffic already. It's a community of many small children who walk and play. .. it's not safe as it is. Trucks will increase the problem further. Please choose a different route x

As a child my family and I would spend many a day going to the white village with a fishing rod and packed lunch. We would spend hours exploring as we trekked through the fields on our way to our destination. I for one would be devastated to see this last bit of countryside ruined as it means I won't be able to share my memories with my grandson by taking him on the same adventure as I had as a child. I'm sure there is plenty of places u could put a landfill so please don't ruin this beautiful spot in caerau
