Everyone who has graduated got to experience what it’s like walking across a stage and getting your diploma. As a 2020 senior we all looked forward to this day for years on end and now that it is here it is cut short. We have all been through so much stress and tiredness for nothing it seems and I would hope we will get to graduate like a normal class as seniors. I sign this petition to save the seniors and to have a normal graduation like the last years

Graduation will be most likely be rescheduled. This virus outbreak is a global pandemic, and needs to be taken seriously. The only way to stop the spread and eliminate the virus is to practice social distancing and self quarantining. It sucks, i know, but we have to consider the lives of everyone we interact with. Do you really want to be the cause of more deaths, just so you can go back to school?

If I have to stay at home and do online classes I will not only fail all my classes but I will also become even more depressed than I already am

Students in the liberal arts have also been working for many months on end of year concerts, musicals, and getting ready to attend competitions. Dont take that away from them as well

I’m not a senior but I totally understand and and want these seniors to the their year and get to have all the experiences everyone else will have or have had and I’m also a football manager and a power lifter so I understand the frustration of the players who have to forget about ever being on that field again I just hope and pray that we get to continue this school year!

I graduated class of 2018 & those moments like Prom & GRADUATION is important. That’s why senior year is supposed to be THE year. I understand the circumstances but please put the young adults of class of 2020 into consideration. Yes health is wealth but a lot of these students may not go to school after school. A lot of these students are moving and this is all they have to look forward to. A lot of students find leave while at school instead of at home , give it a thought. They deserve it.

I feel like we should only close a few weeks at a time then re evaluate. Not the whole thime. Now seniors don't get to have the entire senior year experiences and parents have to worry also about the mental health of their children along with the physical health. Being held up indoors the entire time is an easier way to have children's mental state decrease.
