I've been a Reds fans since I was seven years old (1957) and I can't think of a more deserving candidate for having his Red's number retired. I hope this effort proves successful.

I loved watching and reading about him and Curt Flood in the minor leagues, and seeing them both play with skill I love watching. Two players that put there hearts and sole into the game of baseball.

I saw him several times in my childhood at Crosley Field...He was an amazing player and should have been in the Hall of Fame.

An oustatnding career playing when the strike sone was larger, pitching mounds were higher and pitchers threw inside on a regular basis (and batters didn't walk up to the plate with "body armor" on their elbows, shins, etc.)

Growing up a Pirate fan, always cringed when we had to plat Reds an face Robby and Vada.His stats are better than alot of HOFs. Definitely should be in HOF.
