It's terrible that so many director's have their vision robbed by the studios to chop films down. I can to a degree understand it for a theatrical release but when released on home video, it would make perfect sense to release an original director's cut of the films as to give the moviegoers another reason to revisit a film a second time around. Please release the full version of The Black Dahlia.

I'd love to watch this version of The Black Dahlia. De Palma is a great director and Ellroy a great crime writer. We, as an audience and admirors of this authors, deserve to see this cut.
