I liked the movie and the book but I have to say my one of my biggest gripes with the movie was that Hilary Swank’s character did not resemble the Dahlia in any way. I’d love to see the uncut version though cos you can just feel the studio interference with the film. Massive gaps in the editing. DePalma did what he could with a 2 hour version so it’s not 100% his fault.
