Please, more residential parking lots near digman/ dickinson. Or let only residents park at digman parking lot after midnight.

I hate parking here, as a freshman with a job I was given special permission to use a parking pass, but I am required to park in ZZ, a 20 minute walk from my dorm, when there are spots available in other locations. Parking here needs a new perspective that is equal to residents

As a student that lives downtown and commutes every day, it is very frustrating that the only realistic place I can park is M lot or by the events center, which are as far away from anywhere I need to go as possible. The lots that are convenient (which are very few) are all meter lots. It seems unfair that we have to pay for a permit just to park on campus, but to get any sort of optimal parking, we have to pay extra for that.

Parking issues are on the list of reasons I will be transferring at the end of the semester. Something needs to be done or they're going to lose more students like myself.

We pay too much to not have equal parking. $40 citation when a resident parks in a commuter lot is ridoculous.

This needs to be fixed. Kids are late to practice, class and many other activities. One of the worst problems here

Ive had three parking tickets because I parked in commuter when I was late to class and there were no spots. Something needs to change.

I live in Newing now but I still have to worry about finding parking in my own lots every time I use my car because of people from other communities parking in that lot since there is minimal parking in their lots too, in addition to the commuters who get to park in the residential lot. This petition is just one adjustment that needs to be made to the larger issue that is parking on campus. I am not getting the level of satisfaction for the large amount I pay for parking on campus. You cannot in good faith add a large new community without creating accessible parking for them too and you can't keep increasing the enrollment rate of student without addressing this either. If they addressed this issue at the rate they ticket students, this would have been fixed YEARS ago and would be an issue of the past. There will be students commuting here in their cars no matter how accessible the buses, partly cause of the convenience a car has over a bus, so administration cannot use that a default response.

It would be nice if there were more residential parking spots near dickinson as well!

Living in one of the largest residential communities on campus with one of the smallest parking lots is absolutely outrageous. In my first semester on campus I was forced to park in commuter lots so I wouldn't be late to my class which resulted in me receiving FOUR tickets in one semester! Commuters should not be allowed to park in residential lots, and commuter spots should not be put next to residential living communities.

I have dealt with this for the last 4 years and have struggled to even park my car for the evening, leaving me to sit in my car and wait for someone to hopeully leAve by chance. I rarely obtain a spot close to where I live and I think it is ludicrous that commuters can park in residential lots but not vice versa for day parking.

Dickinson and CIW residents have to share one of the smallest residential lots on campus not only with each other but also with commuters as well. Not sure why our only Dickinson lot (which wasn't that large to begin with) in front of the alumni center was converted to commuter without offering any more residential parking to compensate.

Lot T was Dickinson's only resident lot and it was turned commuter. The largest community on campus does not have nearly enough parking and we need more desperately.

The buses will never be able to solve this issue. We need unilateral action from the student body and administration now.
