Many young Australians are priced out of home ownership, or to be honest have zero interest in such adulting activities. This means that they miss out on the many tax benefits available to investors.
To address this inequity, the Australian Government should make available a Puppy Subsidy to non-home owning Australians.
Mining companies get a lot of tax breaks as well so if you own a mining business you shouldn't be able to get the Puppy Subsidy either.
Potential beagle parents should get a higher subsidy than people who like toy poodles, but both should be financially rewarded by the State for their life choices.
