Lawrence Upton was a very important poet, especially his cooperations with Bob Cobbing. I managed to conduct a long interview with him for my book "Contemporary Views on the Little Magazine Scene" (2000). As senior assistant professor at the University of Salzburg, editor of the poetry magazine "Poetry Salzburg Review" and director of the small press Poetry Salzburg I would ask you to support his group of friends, poets and artists to save Lawrence Upton's archive, so that all lovers of poetry and his important work can enjoy his latest works. I have volunteered to publish one volume under the Poetry Salzburg imprint.
