I live at Robin Hood Airport (ex RAF Finningley) It was a tragedy when this base lost the air show and ultimately closed, the area must not lose another show!!!

Air Shows are a great way to remember our aeronautical heritage, & a way for the people of today & tomorrow to view & find pride in what we can be capable of as a nation.

There are so few air displays now that to lose another one is a huge disappointment and does not bode well for the future. The RAF's relationship with Lincolnshire deserves to be celebrated in Lincolnshire.

Lincolnshire was 'Bomber County' and RAF Waddington has continued to be at the heart of it. The public need to be reminded of our history.

We planned our summer outings around the Waddington show -PLEASE have one somewhere else in Lincolnshire to keep the spirit of the Bomber County alive.

Awful though the Shoreham crash was surely we cannot cancel every air show or make it a banal and uninterseting occasion. far more people are killed eaxh year in civil aviation accidents, are we goigng to stop these flights? Of course not. Life is a drama and a challenge from birth to death and just how many times has an air show resulted in accidents and/or death? Once in the past 60 years. That's a fantastic record, better than motor racing which nobody is suggesting should stop.

Waddington was always my favourite show as being on an operational RAF station, made you realise the importance of their role as well as providing entertainment. My parents live in Lincoln and I know it brought both revenue and publicity to the area. Lincolnshire deserves an airshow, both for the local economy and those who serve today and as a tribute to those who have served in the past.

We must find a place where we can have an airshow a place which is safe for both the public and airshow staff RAF please find a place where we can exhibit wonderful aircraft. Such as xh558 and others. Thank you

It's such a shame that RAF Waddington will no longer be the venue for the airshow being held there. I love going to airshows, irrespective of where they're held but this one was the nearest one for me and as Lincolnshire has such a strong link to the RAF, I would love to see the continuation of an air show taking place at another base within the county.

Please allow bomber county to host those who wish to pay homage to the RAF past, present and future.

If not RAF Waddington why not RAF Scampton. That would be easiest to control as proved by the traffic program used by the Lincolnshire show.
